DigiShelf is a multimedia application that has features to read e-books, download and play videos, create photo albums, and archive web pages.
Point 1: E-Book Reader
DigiShelf can read books posted on Project Gutenberg or Aozora Bunko.
DigiShelf can also display any file in TEXT or EPUB format as a book.
You can customize the text composition with settings such as font-family, and font-size.
DigiShelf automatically saves the page you're reading and it opens the page next time you open the book.
You can also print a book from this software.
Point 2: Video Downloader, Video Player
DigiShelf can download videos from major video sites such as YouTube and others to create your own video collection.
DigiShelf can download multiple video files simultaneously and can play a video in FLV or MP4 format.
Point 3: Photo Album
DigiShelf enables you to create photo albums with image files on your computer. You can play a slideshow with your pictures.
Point 4: Web Archiver
DigiShelf enables you to save web pages as HTML files or image files on your computer.
By archiving a web page, you can record a web site as a reference.

The bookshelf mode consists of three bookshelves: 'Books', 'Project Gutenberg', and 'Aozora Bunko'.
Books
Any book selected from Project Gutenberg or Aozora Bunko is automatically added to 'Books'.
By adding your favorite books to 'Books', you can build your own book collection.
Books saved in 'Books' can be read offline.
You can add TEXT files, EPUB files, and PDF files to 'Books' if you purchase a license.
(Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat is required to view a PDF file in DigiShelf.)
Project Gutenberg
You can read more than 36,000 books posted on Project Gutenberg.
You can select a book from the categories of 'What's New', 'Catalog', and 'Ranking'.
Clicking a book title opens it in the Book mode.
Aozora Bunko
You can read more than 10,000 Japanese books posted on Aozora Bunko.

The book mode displays a book selected in the bookshelf mode.
DigiShelf simulates reading books in the real world with a bookshelf interface and a page flip animation.
On a touch panel display, you can flip a page with your finger.
Any any file in TEXT or EPUB format can be displayed as a book.
And you can insert bookmarks and notes.
You can highlight text and search a word from the web.
If you purchase a license, you can print books too.

DigiShelf enables you to download video files from a video sharing site shown in the browser mode.
Video files downloaded are automatically added to your video collection.
